Time for the great outdoors to wake up!

This message isn't going to have anything to do with Miss Molly Mistletoe Magee but she needs to have equal time with her little sisters on this little ol' posting.

I know it's been awhile since I have updated this thing. Oh, my, how the time has passed so quickly!
Winter is over in the northland, finally. The birds are back and the flowers are blooming. I donned my jungle safari outfit just two days ago and went on an expedition to find the perrenials that I planted last year. After pulling out the overbrush and underbrush of the side flower bed, there they were in all their glory. Actually, the rose bush and the two hibiscus plants by the garage didn't survive the winter. One of the shasta daisy plants didn't make it, either. I am hoping to get the marigolds planted this weekend. I can't see any point in doing much under the flag pole that used to be. Don't want to put in plants, just to have them torn out when the pole gets replaced. I think I will just clear it out and put down some mulch to make it look a little better.

Things are way too busy around here. I long for "boring." This didn't have much to say but to let y'all know that we are alive and well.
